And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among menc by which we must be saved.

God Created Everything
Look around you. Everything your eyes can see has been created. Whether it be made by man, or found in nature, all creation is proof of a creator.
Genesis 1:1 says
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Over the next few verses, the Bible tells us that God spoke all things into existence. God made mankind in His image, (Genesis 1:27) and all of creation was good.
God is creator, He is good, and the ruler over His creation.

Sin Separates Us From God
Sin is the reason there is evil in the world.
Did you know the word “Sin” is actually an archery term? It means to “miss the mark.” That is exactly what happened in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. God commanded them to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for the consequence for eating from it would be death. (Genesis 2; Romans 6:23) Both Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s command and ate from the tree bringing sin, shame, sadness, and death into the world. God is good and cannot be in the presence of sin. Sin separates us from God. (Isaiah 59:2)
Sin has separated everyone from God.

We Have ALL Sinned
God gave us the 10 rules to live by:
1. You shall have no other God’s before me
2.Do not make for yourselves idols
3. Do not take the Lord’s name in vain
4. Remember the Sabbath, keep it holy.
5. Honor your father and your mother
6. Do not murder
7. Do not commit adultery
8. Do not steal
9. Do not bear false witness against your neighbor
10. Do not covet.
(Exodus 20: 1-17)
If God is perfect, He must be perfect in His justice.
God gave the law, so that we can see how far we fall short of His goodness.
(Romans 7:7)
“For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point
has become guilty of all of it.”
James 2:10
God has made it clear that committing one sin is enough to keep us from being good like Him and deserving of eternal death in Hell.
Nobody is perfect.
But God made a way for us to be forgiven.

For the wages of sin is death,

Romans 6:23
Sin separates us from God and we deserve the consequences for our sin.
Jesus lived the perfect life, and in our place He died on the cross,
taking the punishment for those
who would believe in Him. They laid His body in the tomb, but death will not win.
“He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.”
1 Peter 2:22
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

God's Love
Why would a perfect and holy God want to save us? The Bible tells us over and over that God cares for us. He extended His love in the most perfect way by taking the punishment for our sins and died in our place.
but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
Titus 3:5
When we understand that we have fallen short of God's goodness, and that it is not our works or good things that we do that save us, we can call upon the Lord for forgiveness and turn from our sins. He will forgive us, not for some of our sins, but for all of our sins.

Jesus is Lord
Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but the story doesn't stop there. On the third day Jesus rose from the tomb defeating death, sin, and shame for all those who believe.! Jesus walked among his disciples and was seen by over 500 witnesses after his resurrection.
40 days later, Jesus ascended into Heaven and promised He would one day return, defeating sin and death for all time. He also promised to send us His Holy Spirit to help us be obedient to Him as Lord and guide us as we share the Good News of His Gospel.
20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
Ephesians 1:20-21
If we put our faith in Jesus as our Savior, we are to make him the Lord over our life!
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
Romans 10:9-10
Live a new life for Jesus. Be a new person, and love others like Jesus. Get involved with a church that will help you grow in your new faith.

Hebrews 10:24-25
42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

and one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
32Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32
1 Corinthians 12:12-27 Makes it abundantly clear that believers are a part of the body of Christ. We should want to grow and be more like Christ. We can do that together as a church!
11Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:11

Second Hour Worship
A typical Sunday worship service will last about 60 minutes.
Services usually begin with the Worship Team leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to teach on a section of Scripture (this process is sometimes called expository preaching). Occasionally, the preacher will develop a Scripturally-based series of sermons around a theological or cultural topic. Every sermon is based on the Bible and focused on the Good News of Jesus. We believe the Good News of Jesus is extremely helpful to our lives; but we don't practice “self-help” preaching where the goal is simply being a better person.
